About the role

As a Senior Analyst, you will have an active role in supporting management decisions and the overall strategy in Maersk's Logistics and Services (LnS) segment with analysis and insights that are enabled by strong knowledge of both finance and the business.

In our team, we have a diverse task portfolio that includes the following responsibilities:

  • Driving monthly performance management across Maersk Logistics and Services
  • Preparing material for senior management and the board of directors
  • Driving financial reporting and analysis with a focus on time and quality
  • Owning the financial planning and forecasting process
  • Driving and facilitating long-term strategic business planning
  • Analyzing cash flow and working capital trends from a segment view
  • Preparing interim reporting (external), including input for investor relationship material
  • Conducting ad hoc financial analyses that can include providing insight into products or geographical trends as well as benchmarking

Who are we looking for?

  • We are looking for people with a strong analytical mindset who can handle multiple tasks and challenges while maintaining a good sense of urgency
  • You have 5+ years of work experience within financial planning & analysis, investment analytics, project controlling, management and/or strategy consultancy, business development, or equivalent
  • You have a positive attitude and strong collaboration skills, working well with stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent skills in Excel and PowerPoint are required as you will be leading financial modeling; experience with OneStream and/or business intelligence systems is an advantage
  • You have a solid understanding of financial statement analysis and accounting principles
  • You are a self-starter, striving for continuous process improvements and have high attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present data clearly and concisely are a must
