The Coach Customer Success Team manages our customer base while learning, implementing, and experimenting within the rapidly developing shipping market. We teach, learn from, and work with multiple stakeholders in and outside of the company with the mission of fostering an excellent relationship with our customers. Our goal is to embed our team in the operations of our customers, bringing expertise from the field, data, and product knowledge to help create actionable insights and developments for their business.
We are a growing team with expertise stemming from multiple facets in the shipping industry. Sailors, meteorologists, naval architects, and engineers help us connect to our customers in a meaningful way. This is a team of lifelong learners, tinkerers, with a high value on relationship building. We like to share ideas, stories, and perspectives.
Your day-to-day work will involve:
- You will be the key contact of our customer accounts. You will be writing the blueprint of success for each individual account.
- Total ownership of the Onboarding and ongoing relationship building with our customers.
- Use data to provide consultation on vessel performance.
- Ongoing customer care relationship building.
- Gather feedback from our clients to share organization wide. We have deep connections to our Growth, Product, and Design teams.
- Complex problem-solving within the fields of voyage optimization, data validation, and related activities.
We are looking for a colleague who has:
- Preferred competency in naval architecture, machinery systems, sailing, technical operations, and maritime trade.
- Knowledge within vessel performance calculations and metrics.
- A service-minded approach to relationships.
- An ability to communicate technical matters to different audiences.
- An interest in traveling to visit clients, 10-15 days a year.
Bonus if you have experience in:
- Database management and technical programming skills. We use SQL and PowerBI.
- Emissions regulations.
- Hull husbandry and energy-savings devices.

Coach Solutions creates software solutions for the shipping industry to optimize vessel performance and voyage planning to maximize profit and minimize CO2 emissions. We currently have 40 colleagues of numerous different nationalities at our headquarters, where you will be joining us.
Our headquarters is based in the center of Copenhagen, and we also have offices in India, Singapore, Greece, and Houston. We are owned by the Norwegian-based Kongsberg Group.
