We are seeking a motivated Security Architect to join our Shared Services team. This role is crucial in integrating our security strategy with our broader business goals and operations, advancing our cybersecurity maturity, and anticipating our future needs as a SaaS provider.

In this role, you will be managing product-based security risk consistently and efficiently, allowing product owners to make intelligent, informed decisions regarding that risk, whilst providing technical leadership with a central point of expertise across R&D to address new cyber and security queries and requirements as become necessary.

Your role will include responsibilities for the following key considerations:

• You will be a central point of expertise for all product-related queries as relate to Cyber and Security risk.
• You will assess security and control measures, identify deficiencies in the security architecture and effectiveness, and create a security risk management plan.
• You will perform threat modeling to identify, communicate, and comprehend threats and mitigations in the context of safeguarding enterprise infrastructure, networks, applications, and data.
• You will interpret Enterprise Security policy as applies to products and product development processes to allow product teams to ensure efficient and proportionate compliance to collectively support risk management.
• To provide guidance and oversight of product architectures (including development and test processes) to ensure security concerns and architectures are appropriate to the product (reflecting confidentiality, integrity and availability concerns) and ensure residual risks and are understood and accepted.
• To support product teams (both medical, and non-medical products) in understanding and managing security risk within their steams to ensure controls are understood and are appropriate to risk.
• To support product teams in the generation of security and cyber related materials in support of compliance, assurance or other regulated requirements. This includes the creation of templates and patterns for such material such that subsequent creation or refresh has minimum resource impact on product teams.
• To own a register of product and service-related security risk across 3Shape.
• To manage histories and audit trails associated with security assessments and submissions, reviews and security events associated with product development to ensure design and delivery of controls and documentation for Enterprise Security policies.
• To approve the Cybersecurity Analysis Report (CAR) of projects.
• To guide projects in choice of vendors for security related activities like penetration tests and be the safeguards for the execution of such activities.

Your Profile
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of analyzing and documenting security related risk in a product delivery organization, ideally in a highly regulated environment such as healthcare or finance. You will have industry qualifications (including CISSP, CISA, CISM or CEH) reflecting both your expertise, as well as structured methodologies for assessing and managing risk. In addition, it is likely that your experience and skills includes many of the following:

• Have experience working in an organization delivering complex software products into a highly regulated environment such as healthcare – with an understanding of the implications of compliance and certification in such industries.
• Ideally have some experience in the delivery of hardware as well as software products – especially into regulated industries.
• Practical experience with threat modeling tools and methods, risk assessment processes, and the development of mitigation strategies.
• Have a technology or (security) architecture background, understanding the role of technology controls in a product architecture.
• Self-motivated and people centric – able to proactively make collaborate relationships across a diverse organization and drive resolutions.
