About the Job:

Join Saxo's Digital Resilience & Trust team as our Lead Security Architect. This strategic leadership role involves guiding a team of security architects, with a focus on both immediate security challenges and future AI-driven solutions. You will elevate security from technical implementation to business-level integration, ensuring the protection of critical functions and driving initiatives based on a comprehensive understanding of threats and risks.

As we increasingly embed AI into our business processes and technology, you will play a pivotal role in securing these innovations while addressing present security concerns alongside your team. The role requires a forward-thinking approach to anticipate and address security challenges, ensuring alignment with our organisational values and strategic objectives.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and mentor a team of security architects, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  2. Develop and execute security strategies aligned with Business Impact Analysis (BIA).
  3. Ensure the protection of critical functions in accordance with the principles of the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA).
  4. Conduct thorough threat and risk assessments to inform and shape our security strategies and initiatives.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security considerations into business processes and decision-making.
  6. Guide the team in securing AI-driven solutions, ensuring trust and compliance.
  7. Engage with financial partners, articulating our security vision and strategies.
  8. Represent Saxo Bank at industry conferences, sharing insights and establishing thought leadership.
  9. Understand the financial regulatory landscape and integrate compliance requirements into security solutions.
  10. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, including AI advancements.

Your Profile:

We are looking for a seasoned professional with proven experience in a senior security architecture role. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of leading successful security initiatives and possess exceptional leadership skills. You should have experience managing and developing high-performing teams, and the ability to translate complex technical security concepts into strategic business objectives.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex security concepts to diverse audiences.

In-depth understanding of threat and risk management, with the ability to drive initiatives from this perspective.

Familiarity with financial regulations, including DORA, and the ability to integrate them with security solutions.

Experience with AI technologies and a business-focused approach to securing AI-driven solutions.
