ROLE DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a Data Engineer who thrives at the intersection of data, cloud technologies, and AI-driven analytics. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Copenhagen Metropolitan Area.
As a Data Engineer at IDAECO.AI, you will:
- Design, build, and optimize data pipelines and data models
- Develop scalable ETL and data processing workflows
- Work with data warehousing and analytics to enable AI/ML-ready data
- Implement DataOps and MLOps best practices for seamless data operations
- Collaborate with AI/ML engineers and data scientists to integrate data solutions
- Advise clients on data architecture, governance, and cloud strategies
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong technical and architectural thinking—ability to design scalable data solutions
- Excellent communication & presentation skills—can explain complex ideas to technical & non-technical stakeholders
- Programming Language— Python
- Experience with Python, AWS/Azure, and cloud-native data processing tools
- Expertise in DataOps, MLOps, ETL, and data modeling
- Hands-on experience with Dbt, Apache Spark, Databricks or other modern data engineering tools
- Understanding of data governance, lineage, and FAIR data principles
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
