DevOps Engineer, Platform

We are one of the fastest-growing podcast & audiobook platforms in Europe and we are now looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our growing Tech team. Join us on the quest to shape the way people learn, discover, and unwind through audio experiences and thereby enrich lives through listening.

This is the role

Join our small, ambitious cloud infrastructure team at Podimo, where you'll be responsible for refining requirements, architecture, releases, testing, development, and maintenance of solutions.

Podimo is modernizing its cloud infrastructure and adopting scalable technologies with best practices. As a Mid DevOps Engineer, you'll influence key decisions to manage platform growth. Our team works closely with development teams to build a self-service cloud infrastructure, sharing know-how, best practices, and creating reusable components. We're looking for a motivated DevOps Engineer to be part of this transformative journey.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform
  • Collaborate with development teams to define infrastructure requirements and provide cloud-based solutions
  • Explore, test, and propose new tools that can improve the platform ecosystem
  • Develop infrastructure as code (IaC)
  • Document processes, procedures, and best practices for cloud infrastructure management.
  • Ensure development tools and infrastructure are up-to-date

We are looking for a dedicated and talented person with experience in a similar role and who is eager to develop in a global company with plenty of opportunities to grow.

You have:

  • Experience with Kubernetes and other Cloud Native technologies (Docker/Helm)
  • Experience with IAC tools like Ansible/Terraform
  • Practical experience with Google Cloud or other public cloud vendors (AWS, Azure)
  • Monitoring and alerting tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Cloud Monitoring)
  • Programming skills with scripting languages (Python)
  • Result-oriented team player with a pragmatic approach and good communication skills
