Would you like to join the award-winning team of portfolio managers of Danish equities in Nordea Asset Management? We are now looking for a Senior Portfolio Manager with deep knowledge of Danish Equities to secure continued performance of our funds. Nordea Asset Management (NAM) is the centre of investment management in the Nordea Group and in the Asset & Wealth Management division. NAM is the largest asset manager in the Nordics with the vision of being a leading European Asset Manager. We want to do this by delivering returns with responsibility. We meet customer demands and guide our customers in the right direction in asset selection while ensuring prudent ESG practices. NAM has around 900 employees and more than 475 Nordic and international institutional clients.

About this opportunity
Welcome to the Danish Equities team. We are a small team of four skilled professionals that constantly aim to give our customers a sustainable return on their investments. As this team is small, all positions are key to our performance and you will immediately get responsibility for our investments in a number of the biggest listed Danish companies.

What you'll be doing:

  • Do a valuable part of our investment decisions which are based on close teamwork.
  • Have the direct responsibility for our investment view on a part of the listed Danish companies.
  • The view is based on intensive research based on Excel modelling of the companies.
  • Be in direct frequent dialog with upper management of a number of listed Danish companies and analysts from the best equity brokers in Denmark and internationally.

You'll join a highly professional investment team that is committed to being among the very best investors in Danish Equities and has a proven track record of beating the market for many years. The role is based in Christianshavn in Copenhagen.

The position is a specialist role. Your experience and background:

  • Master's degree in microeconomics.
  • Theoretical and practical experience in modelling of companies i.e., forecast of earnings and cash flow.
  • Specialist in valuation.
  • Ability to communicate an investment case.
  • Seniority to communicate directly with upper management of listed companies.
  • Fluent in Danish and English.
