We specialize in serving customers with large mission-critical systems or compliance-regulated industries such as pharma, the financial and public sector, and other essential infrastructure sectors.

Your Responsibilities:

1. Design & Architect: Lead the development of a private cloud platform tailored to client needs, integrating public cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) for a secure, scalable hybrid cloud environment.
2. Infrastructure Development: Spearhead the deployment and scaling of cloud solutions that meet the high availability, security, and compliance standards required in sectors like pharma, finance, and public services.
3. Collaboration & Leadership: Work with teams across DevOps, Engineering, Security, and Product Management to ensure hybrid cloud solutions meet business and regulatory needs.
4. Automation & Optimization: Implement standardization and automation in infrastructure management to improve cost-efficiency and performance for critical systems.
5. Security & Compliance: Ensure that cloud architectures adhere to strict security, compliance, and regulatory frameworks specific to industries like financial services, pharma, and government.
6. Innovation & Strategy: Stay updated on hybrid cloud technology trends and develop strategies to enhance security, compliance, and operational efficiency for clients.
7. Community Engagement: Lead internal cloud initiatives and participate in external activities like conferences, webinars, and marketing efforts.

Qualifications:

1. Experience: 7+ years in hybrid cloud architecture, focusing on private and hybrid cloud environments in compliance-driven sectors.
2. Technical Expertise: Skilled in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), private cloud solutions (OpenStack, VMware), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Familiar with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible).
3. Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the regulatory environments and operational needs of the pharma, financial, and public sectors.
4. Agile Methodologies: Experience with agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) in tech and product teams.
5. Certifications: Relevant cloud and agile certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified ScrumMaster) are advantageous.
6. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on conflict resolution and leveraging internal and/or external resources.
7. Strong executive presence including communication and presentation skills with a high degree of comfort to large and small technical audiences.
