Job Requirements
We seek an experienced Database Infrastructure Engineer to join our Hybrid Cloud Platforms team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure hybrid cloud database solutions.

This role requires a strong blend of expertise in both modern cloud-based systems and legacy databases like Oracle and SQL Server. The candidate will also play a pivotal role in maturing our internally developed database administration tools, ensuring they meet evolving business and technical needs.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement hybrid cloud database solutions across multiple platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, on-premises).
  • Ensure seamless integration and optimization of legacy database systems such as Oracle and SQL Server.
  • Act as Product owner of Pareto database services and underlying supporting tools, driving its evolution and ensuring it meets operational and client requirements.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and Infrastructure Teams to ensure integration, automation, and continuous improvement of hybrid database environments.
  • Monitor and Optimize database performance, security, and cost across both cloud and legacy systems.
  • Stay updated on the latest database and cloud technologies, security risks, and compliance standards to support best practices.

Key Skills:
  • 10+ years of experience in database architecture, with a focus on both cloud and legacy systems.
  • Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Strong experience with legacy database technologies like Oracle and SQL Server.
  • Knowledge of modern database systems (SQL, NoSQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.).
  • Experience in database migration strategies and hybrid cloud integration.
  • Familiarity with automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.) and CI/CD processes.
