You will join AFI at our head quarter in Aarhus, Denmark, and will collaborate with colleagues globally.“As Head of Product Management you drive the overall agenda within product management area including ensuring the successful delivery of business results, cross-functional alignment on product operations in line with product strategy, and together with the team driving opportunities for product development and process optimization” says Head of Commercial Development, Xin Zhou.How you will make an impact You report directly to the Head of Commercial Development and you will be overall responsible for the product management area in Arla Foods Ingredients. You will lead and motivate a high performing team of dedicated and skilled product managers. As Head of Product Management you will be responsible for sharing best practice in Product Management across structures and processes in order to ensure ongoing improvement of the Product Management function as a strong department creating real value for our stakeholders.You will provide thought leadership and in-depth knowledge on product strategy implementation and optimize the value of products and your daily responsibilities include:Motivate, lead and develop the product management team to deliver the business results.Develop and drive Product Management roles and responsibilities.Ensure strong PM partnership and support across the value chain to ensure product delivery to our customers.Take the lead for product or process optimization projects, continuously improve the ways of working for efficiency and effectiveness.Responsible for cross-functional coordination and stakeholder management.Create strong partnership, provide timely communications to stakeholders and ensure the smooth collaboration with stakeholders across product management responsibilities.What will make you successful You have an open mindset and strong drive with excellent communications skills. You thrive as a central link between many stakeholders across functions, companies and geographical borders, and you have the communicative skills to keep people engaged throughout. You are a master of multitasking, enabling you to keep multiple processes going at the same time by efficiently planning and coordinating your way to success.Furthermore, you:Have strong passion in motivating, coaching and developing the product management colleagues.Have solid track record in leading the team to deliver business results together.Have a couple of years of leadership experience, preferably product management.Hold an academic degree in business, or dairy or food science, etc.Are able to analyze large amount of information and translate it into high quality decision driven recommendations.Have strong communications skills and stakeholder management capability.Are fluent in English.What do we offer?
