Copenhagen Infrastructure Service Company (CISC) – a company working exclusively for the global fund management company Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), is currently looking for a PMO Associate to join the Power-to-X (PtX) platform in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The role

Referring to the global Head of PMO, you will become a part of a growing platform delivering PtX projects globally in the CIP portfolio. We provide a unique opportunity for you to take on significant responsibilities right from your first day, where you will have the chance to work on giga-watt scale PtX energy projects at the cutting edge of the energy transition.

Your role will involve aiding in supporting and guiding of both portfolio and project activities, while being trained in standard PMO practices such as scheduling, cost estimation, risk, and interface management. We will seek to constantly support and inspire you, while focusing on your learning and personal development.

During a project's development phase, you will ensure that the initial schedule, budget, and risk register etc. are established according to the existing guidelines. You will support the EPC Director and Project Director for ad hoc analysis and regular reporting to its project shareholders. During construction, you are responsible for tracking the delivery of the project and supporting the technical teams within schedule, risk, and cost management.

Responsibilities will further consist of:

  • Communicating and reporting on progress, performance, and forecasting for the management team and shareholders
  • Facilitating scenario analysis and supporting project teams in concept selection and decision-making
  • Driving and optimizing consistent risk and interface management in the project
  • Structuring, compiling, and maintaining DEVEX and CAPEX budgets and assumptions for business case analysis
  • Facilitating benchmarking and optimization of the project processes and activities
  • Overseeing the continuous improvement of a document control system and promoting this within the project organization

We look for the following in a candidate:

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or a related field from an accredited program with 2-5 years of experience with project management support, ideally from the renewable energy or processing plant sector.

Moreover, you are a highly responsible and motivated individual who thrives in a highly effective and innovative environment.

  • Close attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Solid experience with Excel and PowerPoint, with experience from Primavera (P6), PIMS / Omega 365 or Aconex being beneficial
  • Comprehensive analytical and problem-solving skills, balancing analysis between both technical, commercial, and financial considerations
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written, along with great communication skills
  • Willingness to work in an international, efficient, and highly varied environment
  • PMI-PMP qualification or equivalent project management training as well as experience with the stage-gate model and structured project execution
