We seek a modern IT Director willing to challenge the status quo and guide by example. The ideal candidate will be business-minded and able to integrate and implement system solutions, features, automation, and data orchestration to address the operational requirements of each function in Veo. We expect the candidate to have extensive leadership skills, a comprehensive knowledge of technology, and an organized mindset to be effective in this role. Strategic responsibilities will include achieving business goals, optimizing and implementing optimized data modeling, minimizing security risks, increasing internal user satisfaction, and maintaining operations and systems.
Responsibilities:
  • Implementing and executing optimization priorities to further enhance efficiency levels across the organization.
  • Ensure improvement of data governance, orchestration & automation.
  • Optimize the Veo data model and implement new data structures for internal efficiency and an optimized customer experience.
  • Analyze the organization's IT infrastructure and recommend possible upgrades for other executives to review and consider.
  • Review and improve the security of the organization's network and electronic document storage procedure.
  • Strategize on upcoming projects' costs, benefits, and viability while justifying project funding to other executives.
  • Continuously learn and develop knowledge about new technology and research ways to upgrade the company's computer systems to ensure maximum productivity.
  • Identify the department's short—and long-term personnel needs to ensure consistency in staffing levels and attain the required operational level.
  • Negotiate with vendors, clients, and stakeholders to achieve the highest quality and service at the best possible price for the organization's IT infrastructure operations.
  • Lead, plan, and direct the work of other IT personnel within the department, including Systems Analysts, Software Developers, Network Administrators, Network Engineers, IT Coordinators, Information Security Analysts, and IT Helpdesk Support Specialists.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or above in IT Management, Information Technology, Engineering, or other related business fields
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a similar role or within a management role in an IT-related environment
  • Enhanced communication skills and ability to communicate with stakeholders, clients, external vendors, and team members alike
  • Practical leadership skills with the ability to delegate and identify skills in team members
  • Enhanced problem-solving skills with an out-of-the-box approach to thinking
  • Ability to be analytically minded to identify and improve specific processes and procedures
  • Excellent implementation and development skills
  • Confident in decision-making and able to take responsibility and accountability
  • Advanced critical thinking skills
