Responsibilities:
- Implementing and executing optimization priorities to further enhance efficiency levels across the organization.
- Ensure improvement of data governance, orchestration & automation.
- Optimize the Veo data model and implement new data structures for internal efficiency and an optimized customer experience.
- Analyze the organization's IT infrastructure and recommend possible upgrades for other executives to review and consider.
- Review and improve the security of the organization's network and electronic document storage procedure.
- Strategize on upcoming projects' costs, benefits, and viability while justifying project funding to other executives.
- Continuously learn and develop knowledge about new technology and research ways to upgrade the company's computer systems to ensure maximum productivity.
- Identify the department's short—and long-term personnel needs to ensure consistency in staffing levels and attain the required operational level.
- Negotiate with vendors, clients, and stakeholders to achieve the highest quality and service at the best possible price for the organization's IT infrastructure operations.
- Lead, plan, and direct the work of other IT personnel within the department, including Systems Analysts, Software Developers, Network Administrators, Network Engineers, IT Coordinators, Information Security Analysts, and IT Helpdesk Support Specialists.
- Bachelor's degree or above in IT Management, Information Technology, Engineering, or other related business fields
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a similar role or within a management role in an IT-related environment
- Enhanced communication skills and ability to communicate with stakeholders, clients, external vendors, and team members alike
- Practical leadership skills with the ability to delegate and identify skills in team members
- Enhanced problem-solving skills with an out-of-the-box approach to thinking
- Ability to be analytically minded to identify and improve specific processes and procedures
- Excellent implementation and development skills
- Confident in decision-making and able to take responsibility and accountability
- Advanced critical thinking skills
