Role Overview: Analyse video materials of customer behavior from all around the world, in order to help companies gain better customer insights and accelerate innovation.
What does the work consist of?
UserTribe is a platform that recruits and records user participants from specific target markets globally. Participants share their opinions and experiences to help companies gain knowledge about their customers and improve their overall performance. Your role involves analysing these customer insights in relation to people's understanding of the world and cultural environment, to enlighten companies.
As a specialist, you will analyse customer data in video format. You will receive a data set of typically 5-20 videos of participants interacting with a website, app, marketing campaign, or similar, from which you will derive actionable insights. You generally have 2 - 7 days to complete a single project.
At UserTribe, we base our principles of analysis on the concept of Atomic Research, which you will be thoroughly introduced to during your onboarding process.

Will I work independently?
Yes, you will work independently from wherever you are based. However, if needed, we have an online support team ready to assist with any questions or challenges during your work.
How will my workload be?
Like most freelancer jobs, you commit to short-term assignments. You can decline as many projects as you want, but once accepted and assigned to a project, we expect full-time commitment during that project.
What qualifications do I need?
You need experience with qualitative research methods, preferably within anthropology, UX research, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), behavioral analysis, or related fields. Strong analytical skills and the ability to summarise and condense data into clear insights are essential. Full proficiency in English is required.
How do I get paid?
Specialists are well-rewarded for their work and are paid per research study. The base salary varies depending on the research study, considering aspects like the number of participants and interview length. Typically, an analysis of 10 videos (approximately 16 hours of work) is rewarded with around 400 EUR. Pay is also dependent on the quality of work, with potential bonuses of up to 30 percent for outstanding deliverables. Payment is transferred to your bank account after delivery.
