To thrive in this role, you must have a background in structural, geotechnical, or marine engineering, a strong track record in immersed tunnel design, and a passion for delivering innovative, sustainable, and high-quality design solutions. As an engineer on our team, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with our experts in immersed tunnel engineering and contribute to world-renowned projects such as the Femernbælt, Fehmarnsund, and Dreilinden IMT tunnel projects, with many more in the pipeline. You will join our tunnel department In our tunnel department, you will engage in tasks that develop your skills and expertise. We offer a variety of assignments that provide independence and advanced technical knowledge. Key Tasks and Responsibilities - Undertake and lead design disciplines and tasks, including design scoping and planning, analysis, documentation, and oversight of design output including drawing production - Support the development of engineering team members - Contribute to the development and delivery of innovative, sustainable, and high-quality design solutions - Collaborate with your team and management to manage risks and opportunities throughout project phases Your Starting Point for Constant Growth From day one, Ramboll will support your personal and professional development wherever you are on your career path. For this role, we believe your qualifications include: - Master’s degree in Engineering and/or Science (MSc, MEng, or similar) - Strong experience in immersed tunnel projects - Proficiency in numerical modelling, and ideally in design automation tools/initiatives - Excellent teamwork and problem-solving skills - Sound knowledge of Eurocodes and other international standards - Familiarity with concrete design and detailing - A curious and ambitious personality with a desire for international career growth - Interest in working with the latest tools to deliver efficient and quality designs Personal qualities that will help you succeed in this role include an open and empathetic attitude towards colleagues and clients.
