In this role you will join our Support team - a small, trusted group that keeps the business running smoothly and enables our delivery teams to move fast with control and transparency. Job Overview We are looking for a hands- on Finance Lead to drive accounting, controlling, reporting and continuous improvement of our finance processes. The role has a strong process, systems, and improvement focus. You will act as the owner of our finance systems (currently e-conomic and related tools), manage the collaboration with our external bookkeeper, and lead the evolution of our finance stack and controls as the company grows. You will be responsible for driving month-end close, management reporting, and financial insight, translating operational activity into clear views on profitability, utilization, project margins, and liquidity. This includes partnering with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, pricing models, and the financial implications of new offerings. In the support team you will work closely with our consultants and delivery leads to ensure that contracting, ordering, time registration, customer accounting, and invoicing are robust, transparent, and scalable - and that leadership has the financial insight needed to make decisions as we grow. What you will do - Drive month-end close and ensure high-quality bookkeeping, reconciliations, and documentation in collaboration with our external bookkeeper - Deliver management reporting and financial analysis that supports leadership decision-making (profitability, cash, utilization, project margins) - Maintain and improve accounting and controlling practices: chart of accounts, cost allocation, project accounting, revenue recognition principles, and internal controls - Own e-conomic configuration and integrations, and lead the roadmap for evolving the finance stack as the company grows - Own and continuously improve the contract-to-invoice process end-to-end: contracting, ordering, time registration, customer accounting, invoicing, and related controls - Partner with the AI Solutions team and leadership on pricing, contract setup, billing models, and financial implications of new offerings - Ensure compliance with relevant requirements (e.g., VAT, statutory reporting, audit readiness) and drive pragmatic governance - Own budgeting and forecasting cycles, and support leadership with scenario analysis as we scale - Drive cash management and liquidity overview: payment run planning, vendor terms, and working capital attention - Ensure high-quality customer accounting and revenue-related controls for project-based delivery (WIP, accruals, cut-off, invoicing accuracy) - Coordinate year-end activities and support audits, tax reporting, and compliance documentation as needed - Establish practical finance policies and controls that fit a growing company (approvals, spend policy, documentation standards) Qualifications - Several years of experience in accounting, controlling, and reporting - ideally in a project-based services, consulting, or SaaS environment - Strong process mindset and experience owning or improving order-to-cash/contract-to-invoice processes (time-based billing, milestone billing, project accounting) - Comfortable being hands-on: you can execute, improve, and document processes - not just define them - Experience with e-conomic (or similar ERP) and interest in system improvements and integrations as the business scales - Ability to translate business reality into clear financial structures (accounts, dimensions, project setups) and actionable reporting - Confident stakeholder management: you can challenge constructively and create clarity across teams - Fluent in English; Danish is a plus Benefits - Competitive compensation package with an attractive salary, bonus scheme, 6 weeks of paid vacation, and a paid pension scheme - Flexible working hours and a high degree of ownership - Creative and collaborative environment at our Schillerhuset office in Nørrebro, Copenhagen, surrounded by innovative startups and tech companies - Diverse international team and a culture that supports learning and initiative Join Us Apply via LinkedIn or Jobindex.
