Financial Controller – Group Reporting

DOVISTA is a Group of leading brands on the European market for vertical windows and exterior doors. The Group consists of 12 distinctive brands and one e-commerce platform. The company has approximately 6,500 employees who manufacture and market windows and doors to the European market and customers. The key markets are Denmark, Ireland, Germany, Norway, Poland, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland, and the UK.

DOVISTA is expanding their Group Reporting & Compliance team and is therefore looking for a competent Financial Controller for Group Reporting & Compliance. DOVISTA is in the middle of a finance transformation and the new Financial Controller will play a key role in developing, refining and optimizing financial processes and tools. The position is based at DOVISTA's location in Horsens and refers to Senior Manager - Group Reporting & Compliance.

The Financial Controller will be contributing to the entire task flow within the team, which includes consolidation, financial controlling, reporting to the parent Company and other ad hoc task and cooperation with tax, finance projects and the local finance teams. The new Financial Controller will also be acting as an advisor for regional colleagues across Europe to support them on accounting, consolidation and financial closing related matters.

Together with colleagues, the Financial Controller will play an important role in continuing DOVISTA's digitalization journey of the monthly consolidation process – and in trimming the company's finance processes and tools in general.

Key tasks and responsibilities include:

- Participate in the monthly and annual closing, consolidation and reporting processes for the DOVISTA Group
- Continuously improve financial controlling tasks and participate in controller visits
- Implement and maintain internal controls to support reporting within deadlines and improve the quality of the reporting
- Advise and support colleagues in - and outside Finance
- Play an active role in the annual closing and preparing group financial statements
- Participate in relevant finance transformation projects

The ideal candidate thrives when building relations and collaborating across functions, business areas and regions. Furthermore, DOVISTA is looking for the following key competencies:

- MSc in Business Administration, Auditing, Finance, Accounting or similar
- Fluent in English
- Min. 3 years relevant experience from auditing or from a similar financial controlling role
- Strong understanding of IT systems
- Excels in building relations and collaborate across functions, business areas and regions
- Takes ownership and shows initiative
- Structured and analytically strong
- Team player
