Aarhus C, Denmark EverRest Full time

Are you passionate about data accuracy, process improvement, and working in a collaborative environment to drive continuous improvement? If so, you might be the perfect fit for our Purchasing Coordinator role

At EverRest, we specialize in developing and producing high-quality mattresses, toppers, pillows, adjustable bedframes, and protectors for some of the world’s largest retailers. We are committed to excellence in sourcing, product development, and supply chain management, and we are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining and improving our sourcing-related master data, ensuring we are always striving for better processes and optimized results.

The Role:

As a Purchasing Coordinator at EverRest, you will support the Sourcing team in managing and enhancing product master data and pricing information within our ERP system, Business Central. Your role will go beyond simply maintaining data – you will be expected to take ownership of identifying inefficiencies, creating streamlined processes, and continuously looking for ways to improve data accuracy and team workflows.

This position requires a strong sense of structure, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate with colleagues across various departments and regions. A passion for process optimization and data quality will be key to your success.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create and Maintain Product Master Data: Ensure that product details are accurate and up to date in the ERP system (Business Central), adhering to the highest standards of data quality.
- Process Improvement: Regularly assess existing processes and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement, efficiency, and automation. Propose and implement improvements in collaboration with the team.
- Perform Data Audits: Conduct regular audits to remove outdated, duplicate, or incorrect data, ensuring the data remains useful and relevant to the business.
- Pricing and Costing: Request pricing from vendors, calculate costs, and update pricing details in the system, ensuring alignment with sourcing strategies.
- Data Validation: Collaborate with manufacturers and internal teams across Asia and Europe to validate product data, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
- ERP System Expertise: Become a Super User of Business Central, continuously learning about new features and best practices, and assisting colleagues in leveraging the system to its fullest potential.
- Coordinate Product Samples: Order and track product samples to ensure timely delivery and proper documentation.
- Collaborative Process Design: Work with the Sourcing team and other departments to design and implement new processes for improved data management, from product creation to final delivery.

About You:

We are looking for a candidate who is not only organized and detail-oriented but also eager to make things better. You should be a self-starter, constantly thinking of ways to optimize processes and improve the accuracy and accessibility of product data. Your ability to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external partners, combined with your drive to make continuous improvements, will be essential to success in this role.

Your Profile:

- Experience: 2-3 years in a similar role (Purchasing Assistant, Purchasing Coordinator, or related field).
- Skills:

- Strong attention to detail and consistency in data processing.

- Proven ability to evaluate and improve processes to increase efficiency.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced skills) and experience working with ERP systems (Business Central is a plus).

- Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain an organized approach in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.

- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and implement solutions.

- Process-Oriented: A passion for improving workflows and streamlining data management processes across the organization.
- Team Player: Able to work collaboratively with colleagues across departments and geographies, with a strong service-oriented mindset.
- Self-Motivated: Able to take initiative, propose changes, and work independently to drive improvements.
