We are looking for a goal-oriented and driven person to join our fast-moving and international team for a full-time position. You will support and contribute actively to the graphic design of our platforms, including for several high-level projects and international climate and biodiversity initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design Project Management
- Task planning and scheduling based on provided briefs from project teams
- Ownership of timeline and deadline for deliverables
- Proactive coordination as required with internal design and project teams and any external vendors (AV teams, photographers, videographers)
- Support communications & marketing team in developing and implementing content that aligns with organization's objectives and that is professional, engaging and suited to our audience
- Develop and create content for various platforms, including web, print, social media marketing materials in line with the brand guidelines:
- Website Design and Maintenance: Design, develop, and maintain the World Climate Foundation's websites to ensure they are visually appealing, user-friendly, and optimized for performance
- Marketing Materials: design sales materials, proposals, presentations and post event marketing reports
- Social Media and Communications: create design elements for newsletters and social media campaigns
- Digital Design at Events: design animation for screens, digital program stage backdrops, branding design for screens, program on screens, digital business cards, etc.,
- Print Design at Events: design lanyards, badges, signage, flyers, larger design pieces
- Multimedia Content Creation:
- Support the design team in producing high-quality multimedia content, including videos, infographics, animations, and other digital assets for use across the website, social media, and other digital platforms
- Develop and update the corporate identity & design guidelines
- Think creatively within established brand guidelines to develop new design concepts, graphics and layouts for print and digital platforms
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in graphic design, Visual Design, Multimedia or related design field
- 4+ years of working experience in graphic design, with previous experience in the B2B market
- To be successful in this role, you should have in-depth knowledge of graphic design, visual design, and layout techniques and have a strong attention to detail
- You have experience in animations and video editing (Skills in After Effects and Premiere Pro are considered a big plus)
- Experience executing design projects from conception to production, including brochures, social media content and websites with full ownership of deliverables and timelines
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
- Solid experience with website management, optimization and CMS systems (we use Wix)
- Experience with the MS Office package, especially PowerPoint is a plus
- Understanding of current digital marketing strategies and tools, including social media platforms and targeted communication and marketing
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under tight deadlines, quick turnaround, and on multiple projects at once
