Role overview
The Logistics Coordinator will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless order-to-cash processes, providing comprehensive sales support, and maintaining strong customer relationships. This position will be responsible for optimizing inbound and outbound processes by working closely with the DRL Supply Chain for inbound and 3PL for outbound in the Nordic and Netherlands regions. The assistant will also be responsible for stock reconciliation, SOX control, order-to-cash readiness, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Order to Cash Management
- Efficiently manage and monitor the order-to-cash cycle, ensuring accurate and timely order processing, invoicing, and payment collection.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues that arise during the order-to-cash process. - Customer relations:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing their concerns, and ensuring their needs are met.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to foster loyalty and trust in Nordic and Netherlands regions. - E2E Logistic Management:
- Oversee the entire logistics process, from procurement to delivery, ensuring compliance with regulatory and Quality requirements.
- Work closely with logistics partners and internal stakeholders to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Optimize inbound processes by collaborating with the DRL Supply Chain to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in the Nordic and Netherlands regions. - Stock reconciliation, SOX control and Audit readiness Management:
- Ensure accurate stock reconciliation and maintain inventory records.
- Implement and monitor SOX controls to ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Conduct and support Order-to-Cash and SOX audits to ensure transparency and compliance.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports related to logistics and order-to-cash processes.
- Provide timely and accurate financial information to support decision-making and strategic planning.
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in customer service, logistics, O2C or a related field, with a strong focus on order-to-cash processes.
- Experience in working with IT tools for data analysis and reporting (Excel, SAP, Power BI)
- Mandatory fluency in written and spoken English
- Fluent in Danish or Dutch
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
- Thorough understanding of end-to-end logistics within a regulated environment, preferred to have experience with pharmaceutical/FMCG business.
- Experience in coordinating logistics activities, including Manufacturing sites, Inbound, warehousing and distribution.
- Understanding of quality management systems and adherence to Good Distribution Practice (GDP) guidelines for pharmaceutical products.
- Ability to communicate and coordinate with stakeholders like suppliers and distributors.
- Ability to analyze logistics data to optimize processes and identify cost savings opportunities.
- Quick problem-solving skills to address logistical challenges and disruptions.
- Proactive approach in identifying and mitigating potential risk in the supply chain.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
