Aarhus, Denmark COWI AS Full time

Req. ID: 58081

Do you want to shape the future of sustainable building solutions? Can you manage complex projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction? And are you motivated by building strong relationships with both your team and clients? Then, join us and we can be outstanding together. We are looking for several skilled project managers to join our team, where you can make an impact on some of Denmark’s most exciting and sustainable projects.

Transform visions into reality with a dedicated project management approach

To create exceptional solutions and deliver key projects, we are looking for Project Managers. We are working alongside our customers on some of Denmark’s most significant projects within the Buildings and Industry sector.

On a day-to-day basis your key responsibilities will be:

  • Managing complex building projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet high-quality standards
  • Overseeing project execution, driving project economy, and maintaining excellent customer satisfaction
  • Collaborating closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver integrated, sustainable solutions
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor to ensure their needs are met
  • Providing technical and managerial support to your project team and sharing knowledge across disciplines.

Your skills. Our team. Together we design the future

The first step to success in this role is that you are eager to collaborate with the people around you, whether they are colleagues, partners or customers. Developing ties with others is something you do by acting respectfully and delivering on your promises. And you never get set in your ways, but keep exploring new insights and ways to improve.

On top of that, you will have:

  • A degree in engineering or another relevant field, with a background in construction
  • Extensive experience within project management, preferably with a focus on projects in the buildings and/or industry sector
  • Knowledge of BIM, IKT, and an understanding of client requirements in relation to digital processes
  • Familiarity with Danish construction law and contractual agreements
  • Fluency in English and one of the Scandinavian languages, both written and spoken.

A place to work and so much more

At COWI, we work together with our customers to shape a sustainable and livable world. We do it by applying our knowledge and curiosity – and sometimes even our courage – to create the solutions the world needs today to enable a better tomorrow. That is why we say no to fossil-based projects and aspire to have 100% of our revenue come from activities that move our customers towards sustainability. We value differences and development and cultivate an environment of belonging and having fun. Because that is what brings out the best in you, at work and at home.

With offices primarily located in the Nordic region, the UK, North America and India, we are currently more than 8,000 people who bring their expertise in engineering, architecture, energy and environment into play.

At COWI, we provide you with a dynamic and inclusive workplace where you can grow both professionally and personally. We offer a competitive salary, flexible working conditions, and opportunities for continuous development. At COWI, you will be empowered to take on challenging projects, shape innovative solutions, and make a tangible impact on the world. As a global organization, you will have access to a broad network of expertise and opportunities for international collaboration.

If you have any unanswered questions about the role or what we have to offer, please reach out to the Head of Discipline.

Get to know us even better at our website, where you can learn more about our projects, our strategy, what we want to achieve and what life is like at COWI.

Before you apply

All you need to include in your application is your CV – no photo or application letter. At an interview, you can tell us everything we need to know about why you’re interested in joining COWI. As for the photo, we prefer to form our first impression in person rather than from a picture.

Diversity is fundamental to COWI, inclusion is key.

We are committed to creating a respectful and fair work environment where all employees have a sense of belonging and equitable opportunities to thrive and grow. We ensure that our leaders are role models for inclusive leadership by cultivating a culture where diverse perspectives and thoughts are seen as strengths. And we take diversity and inclusion into account in all relevant decisions and processes and when setting teams and fora. We do it because it is part of our values and because it is simply the right thing to do.
