The position

As an IT Manager, you will be responsible for leading the IT System Management and Operations team and supporting our production facilities.


Your main tasks will include:
  1. Managing your own team within people and business processes.
  2. Ensuring operational performance in terms of quality, delivery, cost, environment, health & safety.
  3. Driving continuous improvement through the introduction of new technology, sharing best practices, and practicing change management.
  4. Implementing site-specific strategies and anchoring them within your team and the plants, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  5. Setting and sharing goals for your team and individuals, providing performance feedback and development plans, and ensuring clear and timely communication, coordination, and collaboration between employees and stakeholders.
  6. Managing the local IT systems and budget to ensure efficient operations of the production facilities.
  7. Ensuring compliance with current and future GxP standards and external requirements.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

  1. An academic background in engineering, pharma, IT, or a related field.
  2. Strong leadership skills and the ability to drive change and continuous improvement.
  3. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential, with fluency in both Danish and English expected.
  4. Knowledge of Manufacturing IT systems (MES – Manufacturing Execution System, DCS – Distributed Control Systems and PLC systems) and infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networking.
  5. Familiarity with GxP standards, regulatory requirements, and experience in budget management.

The job requires physical presence in Kalundborg, Denmark. Both Danish and English in speech and writing is a requirement for this position.

The team consists of a group of System Manager and IT Operations, who are responsible for operation and compliance of our Manufacturing systems.
