Due to the growth of one of our key biotech clients in Copenhagen, Denmark - Blackfield Associates are looking for an Automation Project Manager to support the delivery and execution of the BMS (Building Management Systems) and VDS/EMS systems packages for a €1billion+ CAPEX investment project.

Example responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of the BMS and VDS (EMS) system package, ensuring project milestones are met.
  • Work closely with the design and execution vendors, overseeing system integration to handover.
  • Evaluate and feedback on any proposed modifications to the BMS/EMS package.
  • Oversee the implementation of the Critical Alarm Handling System, ensuring compliance with regulatory and operational requirements.
  • Act as a liaison between electrical, building, and IT work packages, ensuring coordination.
  • Collaborate with site CSV resources to develop Validation Project Plans.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Lead Automation Engineer or Project Manager with a solid background in BMS/EMS.
  • Proven track record within large pharma/biotech projects.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Automation, Electrical, or related).
  • Knowledge of batch processing, GMP, GAMP, and S88 standards is advantageous.
