We are looking for a passionate IT integration expert within Logistic Execution IT Processes (EWM, TMS, 3PL Decentralized Warehouse) to join our Global IT team. Siemens Gamesa is a world leader in the design, manufacture, installation and maintenance of wind turbines, and this role represents an opportunity to take your career to the next level within our dynamic organization.

How to contribute to our mission

As an IT Integration Expert , you will be responsible for supporting process owners in improving business flow for logistical IT processes within warehouse operation and transportation, in our newly implemented SAP S4/Hana platform and integration via EDI to 3PL logistical providers.

Your primary tasks will be to take charge, in cooperation with the lead Integration architect within the area, for development and implementation of innovative IT functionalities, required to support business needs and requirements.

This area is strategically important, and you will be supporting the global and local supply chain functions with smart and innovative solutions. Your activities will have a significant influence on setting the future business. Your primary tasks will include the development and implementation of new processes and IT tools within SAP.

The roles include:

  • Optimizing IT processes within your areas by continuous improvement on existing IT processes within SAP, including development of requirement specifications, solution testing, documentation, and training of key users.
  • Working closely with business process specialists and owners, supporting them with best practice SAP solutions to enable world-class performance.
  • Collaborating with IT offshore partners and external software providers for alignment on requirement specifications for requested solutions.
  • Bridging the gap between existing processes and the implementation of SAP S4/HANA.
  • Turning the defined improvement areas into smaller projects and managing the total project lifecycle, including planning, initiating, and implementing.
  • Occasional travel will be expected.

You will be part of a large global project which involves the introduction of the SAP S4/HANA ERP system for all Siemens Gamesa and Siemens Energy entities, and your ideas will change how the business operates today. What you need to make a difference

As a person, you are structured and have a strategic and analytical mindset that allows you to create an overview and identify improvement opportunities. You will be part of a diverse workforce and must be an outstanding communicator who can work with different nationalities and organizational levels.

  • You have a master’s degree in Supply Chain Management and 3-5 years of relevant business development experience from a consultancy firm or a larger international company.
  • You have knowledge of best practice solutions within your area of SAP processes, table structures, and the ability to write/understand functional specifications for developers.
  • You can demonstrate documented experience in project management concerning SAP/LE processes and EDI, as well as profound experience in stakeholder management.
  • You are fluent in English - written and spoken; other main languages would be an advantage.
