About 'All Gravy'
The next generation of employees are used to apps like Instagram, TikTok and Spotify in their personal life - but when they go to work at a restaurant chain or retail store, they're met with software created before they were born.
We are modernising the tools for frontline employees and transforming the experience into one that is engaging and motivating; making their lives easier - from getting paid to developing their careers.
We're innovating on the whole employee journey: from being recruited, onboarded, growing skills, knowing when to work, and connecting with co-workers.
We've grown incredibly over the last year and are looking to accelerate further. We already work with some of the most exciting brands in the Nordics and the UK and we're now expanding even more into the United Kingdom and the Netherlands.
Who are we?We are passionate, have an ambitious mission, and our users love us
And this is just the beginning. The best is yet to come, and we hope to bring you on board to achieve this mission together. We are a fun and hard-working team that is looking for passionate professionals to join our mission. Join us to shape the future for shift & gig workers.
The role: Product DesignerWe are looking for a Product Designer to join our team.
You'll be working primarily with the product and engineering teams, helping turn our customers' needs into reality
We always start with an insight from our customers: a hypothesis, a need or some kind of concept that could solve a real problem for real people. You'd work together with our Senior Designer, our developers and researchers and our Head of Product to turn that insight into a solution that we eventually build.
We're heavily research focused; so we like to prototype things and get those mockups into the hands of users quickly. So be prepared to design concepts for testing and be okay with them not making the cut – it helps us learn and come up with even better things.
We love working on big visions and beautifully crafted experiences, we try to not let perfection get in the way of progress and often start by shipping a small version 1 to start out with.
The job and responsibilitiesPriorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
- Drive and champion a 'Design Thinking' approach within a cross-functional Product Team.
- Turning ideas and insights from our research into highly polished, solid designs using Figma.
- Participate in a small team of Product Designers (you will work together with a Senior Product Designer) where you can lift each others respective work through collaboration and feedback.
- Create rapid prototypes and wireframes that we can use for user research purposes.
- Interview and interact with customers for research purposes.
- Be the users' advocate and push for first-class experiences with our product.
You have great energy and have a disciplined problem solver mindset. You should enjoy working in the dynamic startup environment, like to initiate new projects - but also get them over the line.
We look for employees who like being part of a team, are real team players, and have a mindset of learning & growing.
We expect you to:
- Have 1-3 years of relevant work experience (digital agency, software company, etc.) and a portfolio to back it up.
- Be curious about our users, keen to hear and iterate based on their feedback, and driven to deliver the best possible result.
- Engage and interact with our developers, and value their contributions to the design process.
- Share early and often, iterate based on feedback and the research process.
- Be courageous, and unafraid to challenge the status quo to improve our product experience.
- Be proactive; be someone who pulls for the information they need, doesn't need to be pushed, and can make progress in the absence of concrete answers.
- Have a "get stuff done" mentality – we want it to be right, but we want to ship quickly and often.
- Be excited about building a big company from a small starting point, and want to grow personally on the way there.
- Have excellent communication skills, can give and receive direct and critical feedback.
- Be fluent in English, and work primarily in English.
- Be able to work at our office in Copenhagen, near Rådhuspladsen (we operate with a hybrid model, so you are free to choose to work remotely as well – but since it's a highly collaborative role, we'd like for you to generally be in the office at least 3x a week).
We are in the midst of building an awesome company and can't wait to onboard you - therefore we will hire the right candidate as soon as we find him/her.
Even if you do not tick every box on this page, you might be the perfect fit for the job We treasure our learning culture and encourage all humble people to apply.
What we offerWe are a motivated, young and dynamic team working closely together on our mission – at the moment we are 33 people and cannot wait to welcome the next person to the team
We have fun together while collaborating to create a product people love and aspire to be the best place to work.
Our office is in central Copenhagen and has all the perks you'd expect from a startup - lunches, lots of social events (padel tournaments, dinners, wine-tastings, strategy offsites, you name it), fussball table, a stocked fridge with snacks & drinks, and a regular Friday bar
