The Project Support is one of 4 teams in the Special Projects Department, where we support the other teams. We are the only team that is interfacing internally. Here we support the teams that support the clients in an operational fashion (Upgrade and Aftersales, Main Component Exchange, and Blade Service - all offshore).


The Project Support department is responsible for ensuring a high-quality customer experience when completing projects for our customers, supporting service sites in conducting special campaigns and internal project support within the department.


The department is part of the Offshore Service organization in the Vestas NCE Region. Here you become part of a committed team of >500 colleagues who daily work on delivering Offshore Services to our trusted customers. This includes everything from strategy work, operational & process improvement, Health & Safety, technical case handling to delivering the services on the wind turbines offshore.


Responsibilities

As Document Specialist, you can expect to undertake the following responsibilities:


  1. Documentation management within projects and internal systems, ensuring handover of documentation to Service and Customer
  2. Create and maintain documentation review governance system
  3. Liaise between stakeholders to monitor progress of works and key project stages
  4. Coordinate creation and approval of WTSR documents between various Vestas and external departments
  5. Collect and request site specific documentation and work instructions
  6. Train and support the team in documentation awareness
  7. Support technical writers upon request to develop new documentation (e.g. new platforms)

Qualifications

We envision that you are able to reflect yourself in the following:


  1. At least 4 years' experience within documentation management
  2. Wind Turbine understanding and awareness
  3. Experience in information and knowledge organizing, storage, and sharing
  4. Experience with Document Management Systems
  5. Experience with SharePoint and MS Office packages
  6. Good understanding of technical documents
