Head of Product Development RTW

JOIN OUR TEAM AS HEAD OF PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT RTW AND LEAD THE WAY

At GANNI, we are looking for a passionate and skilled Head of Product Development RTW to take charge of our Ready-To-Wear (RTW) collections. This is your opportunity to drive innovation, ensure product excellence, and be part of a dynamic and creative environment where we challenge the status quo.

YOUR MISSION & RESPONSIBILITIES AHEAD OF YOU

• Lead and structure the end-to-end development of seasonal RTW collections, including prototypes, samples, fittings, costings, and pre-production launches.
• Act as the central link between Design, Technical Development, Raw Materials, Production, and Merchandising, ensuring seamless collaboration and execution.
• Oversee supplier sourcing, cost negotiations, material feasibility, and technical execution across our global supply chain.
• Own delivery timelines and budget management, reporting directly to the CPO, while ensuring calendar discipline and meeting margin targets.
• Drive fitting processes with a strong eye for garment construction and quality, delivering technically sound solutions that honor the design vision.
• Support the implementation of the PLM system, engaging teams, defining workflows, and ensuring smooth adoption.
• Ensure consistency, reliability, and traceability of all product data and documentation across platforms.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire the development team, fostering collaboration, operational excellence, and a problem-solving mindset.
• Contribute to the selection and onboarding of new manufacturing partners aligned with GANNI's standards of quality, sustainability, and cost expectations.
• Regular trips to Paris for lookmaking, show preparation, and pre-collection showroom visits.
• Visit suppliers as needed (specific locations to be determined).
• Home office options are available, subject to calendar and project needs.
• Fittings required as part of the development process, to be scheduled in agreement with the manager.

MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS

• 8+ years of experience in RTW product development, ideally within a premium, contemporary, or designer brand environment.
• Deep knowledge of garment construction, materials, and product lifecycle management.
• Strong leadership skills with a hands-on, pragmatic, and solution-oriented mindset.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and complex development calendars.
• Familiarity with PLM systems and digital tools is a strong asset.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, agile, and creative setting.
• Fluency in English (French is a plus).
