As our industry continues to grow, so do we We are now looking for a Payroll Specialist to join us in the Marine HR department and help us with the management of all tasks related to the payment of salaries to our Cadeler seafarers.
What will you do?
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist who is motivated by the challenge of managing payroll administration in a company with an expanding fleet of windfarm installation vessels.
Your main tasks include:
- Manage the month-end-to-end payroll administration to ensure timely and accurate payment of salaries to seafarers.
- Generate payroll reports to management.
- Develop and implement payroll processes and systems to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Drive strong internal control in payroll working closely with Crewing Coordinators and the Finance department.
- Serve as an expert on issues related to seafarer's payroll.
As part of the crewing organisation, you will report to the Head of Marine HR. The position is based in our office in Copenhagen, Denmark and offers a great opportunity for an ambitious candidate interested in pursuing a career in an exciting growing company in the offshore wind industry.

We are looking for a Payroll Specialist with practical experience with payroll administration. As the successful candidate you are structured and disciplined, with excellent organisation and time management skills. Accuracy and attention to details comes naturally to you and you enjoy finding solutions. Furthermore, you are a team player, who possesses great interpersonal and communication skills.
As the preferred candidate, we expect you to have the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience with payroll administration in the maritime industry
- Knowledge about the Danish DIS scheme is preferred.
- Practical experience in payroll systems
- Proficiency in written and spoken Danish and English
