Freelance copywriter

We are seeking a freelance Copywriter for an innovative software company at the forefront of privacy-enhancing technologies. Based in Denmark, they have developed cutting-edge solutions for data depersonalization and analytics, serving regulated sectors such as finance, healthcare, and government. They are seeking an experienced freelance Copywriter to craft compelling, clear, and value-driven content that bridges technical features, regulatory requirements, and commercial benefits. This role will focus on translating complex topics into engaging narratives tailored to diverse audiences.

1. Develop and optimize a variety of content, including:
   1. Technical product descriptions, documentation, and white papers.
   2. Marketing collateral such as one-pagers, sales decks, and fact sheets.
   3. Website content, blog posts, FAQs, and user guides.
   4. Social media posts and campaigns with a focus on brand storytelling.
   5. Collaborate closely with the CEO and CCO to align messaging with product functionality and market strategy.
   6. Stay informed on industry trends, privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR), and customer needs to create relevant, impactful content.
   7. Maintain and contribute to the company’s tone of voice and style guide, ensuring consistency across all platforms.

1. Experience: Proven track record as a Copywriter, Marketing Writer, or Technical Writer, preferably in software or cybersecurity.
2. Technical Expertise: Skilled in explaining complex technical topics in simple, engaging language.
3. Familiarity with B2B marketing and SaaS is a strong plus.
4. SEO Knowledge: Experience in SEO best practices for web content; basic website coding skills are advantageous.
5. Creative and Strategic Mindset: Ability to merge branding creativity with data-driven storytelling.
6. Interpersonal Skills: Collaborative and proactive in working across teams and understanding diverse audience needs.

Location: Remote with a few on-site meetings in office south of Copenhagen.
Scope: 1 day a week. Possible retainer onwards.
Timing: December 2024 to June 2025, with potential for extension.
