Join a vibrant and diverse team of 19 skilled engineers and professionals spread across three locations: Denmark (DK), Portugal (PT), and India (IN). We are at the forefront of innovation, specializing in the design and technical management of hydraulic pitch systems for wind turbines. Our team is responsible for developing innovative new designs and optimizing existing systems to ensure peak performance and reliability in the ever-evolving renewable energy sector.

Whether you're working on new product development or enhancing existing solutions, your contributions will play a crucial role in advancing the future of sustainable energy.

Responsibilities

  • Guide the design and development of electric drive systems for pitch systems in wind turbines based on requirements and technical specifications.
  • Develop our internal design and simulation tools for the pitch system.
  • Conduct dynamic analysis and simulation of the pitch system using MATLAB/Simulink or Python.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, and service to ensure effective product development and launch.
  • Develop our supplier basis to accommodate the technologies for tomorrow's pitch system.
  • Assist in developing detailed engineering designs, models, and drawings using CAD software, while providing technical support to service teams with troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Participate in prototype testing and analysis to evaluate product performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Control Engineering or a related field.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in simulation and design of hydraulic systems or electrical drive systems, preferably for wind turbine pitch systems.
  • Have a solid understanding of mechatronic systems design and simulations.
  • Customer-focused approach with a holistic understanding of the business value chain.
  • Good experience with system engineering tools like DFMEA, HSE assessments, requirement specifications, etc.
  • Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink.
  • Experience with CAD tools such as Creo.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in both written and oral English communication.
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team.

The primary work location is in Aarhus, Denmark.
