Job Description
We are currently seeking a Director of Programmatic to join our dynamic organization. In this role, you will play a vital role in leading our Programmatic team and be responsible for overseeing and enhancing all aspects of our programmatic deliveries across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of +20 professionals, fostering an environment of creativity, innovation, and collaboration.
- Provide a clear and ambitious direction for GroupM's programmatic offering.
- Have the direct management of a leadership group comprising Team Leads and Practice Leads.
- Ensure a motivated and functional leadership group and overall employee satisfaction.
- Support people in their professional and personal development and ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Hold full commercial and operational responsibility, ensuring effective and efficient execution of programmatic campaigns, as well as delivery on financial targets.
- Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders and work cross-functionally with other teams locally and regionally to ensure alignment with overall company objectives.
- Drive the integration of Nexus and our 3 agencies so that we succeed with our ambition of working with (and in) integrated client teams.
- Build on top of an already strong foundation so we continue to deliver brilliant work for our clients.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a solid understanding of digital marketing and especially programmatic buying.
- Visionary and strategic thinking, paired with a strong ability to implement.
- Previous experience working in an agency environment is strongly preferred.
- Proven stakeholder management skills, particularly in managing relationships across multiple agencies, specifically Wavemaker, EssenceMediacom and Mindshare.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and inspire a large team, and to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Strong commercial acumen, with experience managing budgets and delivering on financial targets.
- Operational management experience, including project planning and execution, resource allocation, and task prioritization.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
