The Position

This position is based out of the newly established region EUCAN in a CoE set-up covering the two BAs North and Central and South and West in Copenhagen, and is part of a diverse, engaged team reporting to the Director of Business Finance. As Business Finance Manager:

  1. You will work as a finance partner to one of the European Business Areas supporting the consolidation and reporting of affiliates within the BAs.
  2. You will actively drive business decisions by translating financial data into insights; leveraging business and market understanding to support the local business finance managers and team and the continued growth of the Business Area.
  3. You will be responsible for the mid-term financial planning and tracking financial and market performance for your respective BA.
  4. You will be part of driving projects spanning both Business Areas and ensure best practice sharing across affiliates.

Qualifications

You are our ideal candidate if you:

  1. Hold a master’s degree in Business, Finance or similar and carry relevant working experience.
  2. Possess strong personal and analytical skills and take pride in continuously improving your way of working, while being driven by partnering with affiliates in close collaboration with colleagues across the value chain.
  3. Have a can-do and proactive mindset, approaching tasks with a positive attitude and a good sense of humour. You are comfortable taking on new responsibilities and identify opportunities proactively.
  4. Have strong communication skills, being able to explain complex situations in a concise and simple manner and enjoy cooperating with people at all levels of the organisation.
  5. Are fluent in written and spoken English. Experience with business intelligence systems (e.g., SAP BO, PowerBI) would be an advantage.

About the Department

Business Finance acts as the Centre of Excellence for Bas North and Central and South and West with 8 Business Finance Managers working dedicated as finance partners to the affiliates and two supporting the Business Areas. The BA is comprised of affiliates in Denmark, Sweden, Switzerland, Netherlands, Belgium, Finland, Norway, Ireland, Portugal, Greece and Austria.
