Student assistant for Marketing

The AU International Office is looking for a new student assistant to help with the recruitment and retention of international students at Aarhus University.

You will be part of the International Outreach Team at the AU International Office. The team consists of four full-time staff members and around six student assistants – both Danish and international.

Primary tasks
  • Help support our student ambassadors
  • Organize and host events with and for our student ambassadors
  • Help manage our online platform – 'Chat with our students'/Unibuddy
  • Assist student ambassadors in their communication with prospective students
  • Create various content for web, including blog posts and/or simple videos
  • Assist with the maintenance of various online portals
  • Other administrative tasks
Expected qualifications
  • Knowledge of and interest in international full-degree students at Aarhus University
  • Experience hosting events and presenting to larger groups
  • Experience providing guidance, information, service to individuals
  • Experience writing for online media and/or creating videos
  • Flair for using IT, administration and working on various online platforms

In addition, we expect that you are:

  • Comfortable working independently
  • Creative, but still comfortable with routine tasks
  • Well organized with a good sense of detail
  • Outgoing and internationally minded
As our Student Assistant, you will get the opportunity to

  • Interact with international students and maybe share your personal story in the process
  • Gain practical work experience with various different tasks
  • Sharpen your intercultural, communicative and organizational skills
