The Director of Brand Marketing for Media is focused on developing and expanding the Media Solutions business by defining, enhancing, and broadening our brand marketing offering. This role is crucial for fostering growth and elevating our presence in the media solutions industry. With a strong background in media, you will utilize your extensive experience across both paid and organic channels, holistic brand strategy and evaluation, deep knowledge of industry trends, and your proactive mindset to create a shared vision for the future of brand marketing at Precis.
Internally, you will lead our Media Strategist team and collaborate closely with our Client facing teams to increase the pace of learning and innovation in our collaborations. You will also take on several of our largest clients to focus on building a branding offering that delivers the highest long-term impact of advertising investments. As part of the senior leadership team in the region, you will promote and develop our business by keeping the agency at the forefront of our industry and through leveraging your existing network.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Develop and grow the Media Solutions business at Precis with a particular focus on strategic planning around media investments, the upper funnel, and creative.
- Lead the conversations around media strategy for our biggest clients in the Northern European Region, typically through C-level education and engagement.
- Work closely with key external stakeholders including media platforms to ensure Precis and our clients alike benefit therefrom.
- Develop our service offering, with a deep understanding of the evolving needs and expectations of advertisers across markets and industries.
- Promote and communicate Precis’ Media Solutions offering through external thought-leadership, case studies, events, and networking.
- Drive the creation of original research using data, client cases, and industry insights/trends to demonstrate the effectiveness of our branding and media solutions and identify opportunities for future investments.
- Close collaboration with our matrixed leadership and regional delivery structures to build a collaborative and shared vision and approach to our media business strategy.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- Extensive (10+ years) in-house or agency experience leading and executing initiatives within branding/upper funnel digital media channels (Precis largest existing managed channels are Google Ads, YouTube, DV360, META, with TikTok, Snap, LinkedIn, and Microsoft Search as growing platforms).
- Ability to combine deep understanding of business objectives and media/audience trends in order to create strategies for growth, optimal budget allocation, and media effectiveness
- Proven track record of growing a media business (agency revenues, managed spend, or media spends/team size if in-house).
- Excellent ability to inspire and lead large groups of specialists and strategists to promote learning, development, and dedication to client success.
- Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and thrive in a matrixed organisational structure.
- Availability to regularly travel across our different locations (Nordics & UK mainly) to visit our office and clients.
