Position Overview:

Reporting to the Global Director of Supply Chain and Operations, the Logistic specialist will be focal point for logistical activities for KM Global Supply Chain. This includes: intercompany stock move transactions and tracking, master data analysis and updates for increased efficiency in operations, focal point for all incoming and outgoing operations from the main EU warehouse, and assistance with Global warehousing operations.

Top 5 Priorities for this role

  • Be owner of DeliverEU@ - joint email address for all incoming and outgoing activity to the Global European Warehouse + inventory, quality and "set-up" clarifications and enquiries that are also routed through this email for operations channeled through Europe.
  • Intercompany stock movement management – US, EU, Asia Pacific and other stock movements for Education, E-commerce, Events etc.
  • Resolve logistical issues or delays to minimize disruptions to operations
  • Master data monitoring and upkeeping – including correct receipts of stock into KM systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and enhance efficiency in the operational set-up.

Key Responsibilities:

  • DeliverEU email address: be the focal point and coordinator for the joint email of all incoming and outgoing activity to the Global European Warehouse. Assess incoming emails and take action or distribute to correct focal points within the organization. This includes the systematical management of logistical documents and data for use in the inventory and supply management globally
  • Intercompany stock movement: the role will be responsible for the Order raising, monitoring and transactional actions to ensure timely movement of stock between KM Global warehouse entities. Manage the order processing from request -> fulfillment -> dispatch ->receipt, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Work closely with our main Freight and logistical partners to ensure correct and fast receipt of all incoming goods into KM system – this includes adjustments, moves, transactional alternations etc. where needed.
  • Master data monitoring and update: work closely with Supply Chain, Finance and IT colleagues to constantly improve the quality of our master data in real-time. This includes involvement in the SKU creation, updating of system data, as well as updating processes Globally to ensure efficiency
  • Prepare reports and analysis on logistics performance and activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and enhance efficiency in the operational set-up.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Develop standard operating procedures for KM GLOBAL group in the area of Logistic operations

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree, equivalent Diploma, or equivalent years of additional work experience in relevant field required.
  • Minimum three years of experience in hands-on logistics and Supply Chain operations and troubleshooting
  • Strong experience with ERP systems, especially Microsoft Dynamics and PowerBI is an advantage
  • Flexible in working hour distribution to accommodate different time-zones as needed
  • Fluency in spoken and written English is required
  • Problem solving, proactive, diligent and structured in approach to work
  • Taking ownership and responsibility for tasks and projects assigned
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
