Key Responsibilities:
- Execute short-term trading strategies in the European Power Markets, leveraging your expertise to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
- Analyze market trends, price movements, and relevant data to identify trading opportunities and make informed decisions.
- Manage and optimize the company's positions in real-time, employing effective risk management strategies to maximize profits and minimize risks.
- Collaborate with analysts and other traders to develop and refine trading strategies, leveraging collective expertise and insights.
- Ensure strict compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk management policies, maintaining the highest standards of integrity and ethical conduct.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in intraday trading within the European Power Markets, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent decision-making abilities under pressure and in fast-paced environments, with the ability to think critically and act decisively.
- Proficient in trading platforms and tools relevant to the European Power Markets, with a deep understanding of market dynamics and trading strategies.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
