The Position

Novo Holdings and the Novo Nordisk Foundation have a strong focus on continued expansion across global locations and with this new position in the Corporate IT Team, we want to strengthen the global IT service even further. You will become a part of the IT team located in Tuborg Havn and drive the continued development of our global IT service.

As part of our IT team, you will be responsible for the global IT service and operational setup in our offices outside Denmark. You will manage all aspects of the global IT service and activities related to continued global expansion. You will drive further standardization of the global IT processes and functions, while managing stakeholders and vendors.

In this role your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Manage the global IT service and operations setup on currently 8 international office locations
  2. Define and structure a standardized framework for efficiently managing global IT operations
  3. Ensure high quality and continuous improvement of the global IT service
  4. Manage and drive global IT projects and improvement initiatives
  5. Single point of contact for international colleagues and global stakeholders
  6. Develop and improve processes, guidelines, policies, communication material etc. in IT
  7. Manage global IT sourcing and procurement
  8. Manage global IT vendors and contracts

Furthermore, you will be driving the IT globalisation agenda, defining new standards for current and future offices in collaboration with your colleagues.

You will be responsible for global IT services and operations in multiple time zones; therefore, the role will require flexible working hours and travel activity to a reasonable extent.

About You

We are looking for an experienced colleague to represent the IT team globally, building strong relations with international colleagues, stakeholders, and vendors. You thrive with independence, making decisions and executing them. You are structured, motivated by improvement and change, and possess a proactive, problem-solving mindset with a structured approach to complex problems.

Further to this, we would appreciate an individual who has:

  1. Interest in diverse cultures and strong interpersonal skills
  2. Ability to communicate across all levels in the organisation
  3. Extensive experience with managing international services and vendors
  4. Extensive experience with IT operations standards, best practices, methodologies, and processes
  5. Experience from an international organisation with an outsourced IT environment
  6. Fluency in English, oral and written
