As a Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in identifying, developing, and nurturing business opportunities, cultivating client relationships, and driving the company's growth. You will work closely with the leadership team to develop and execute business development strategies aligned with objectives at hand. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Ideal Background:

  • Very good university degree, for example in business administration or quantitative-analytically oriented subjects
  • Preferably 2-5 years of relevant professional experience within one of the leading Consultancies
  • Understanding of business development, business models, and fields of innovation
  • Intellectually and analytically strong
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and self-organized with the ability to independently implement projects and investments in a relatively short period of time
  • Able to move, with very good business English and international experience
  • Fluent in English and any other European language is a plus

Your Role:

  • Strategy development for the corporate development area in collaboration with the management
  • Carrying out targeted search processes for new investments and acquisitions
  • Preparation of market and competition analyses
  • Evaluation of business plans, pitch documents, and due diligence reviews
  • Creation of process documents (investment proposals etc.) and integrated financial models as well as carrying out company valuations (e.g. DCF and multiples)
  • Management of all process phases of the entire acquisition and investment process
  • Support the overall Corporate Strategy development and deliver input for Board Committees
  • Orchestrate strategy meetings as the key platform for strategic discussions with the board of management
