Dexi is looking for a Cloud DevOps Engineer with a positive and proactive attitude to join our low-ego, highly collaborative team located in Copenhagen, Denmark.
What you’ll do- Contribute to the design and implementation of DevOps practices.
- Design and improve the resilience, scaling, security, and robustness of production infrastructure systems.
- Proactively react to outage or service level degradation scenarios.
- Continuously improve regular operations by automating procedures and optimizing processes.
- Raise awareness and improve understanding of CI/CD practices in the Engineering departments and across the company.
- Effectively gather information and use analytical skills to make data-led decisions.
- Balance multiple tasks and priorities.
- Deliver high-quality work while meeting business deadlines.
- Create innovative ideas to solve problems.
- Prioritize customer experience.
- Experience as a DevOps Engineer.
- Strong understanding and knowledge of CI/CD processes.
- Experience with designing and building automation.
- Experience in IaC and with configuration automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
- Thorough understanding and experience in Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies – Scrum, Kanban, etc.
- Experience with:
- Google Cloud (and other cloud providers).
- One or more programming languages (Java preferred).
- Cloud migration.
- Monitoring tools (Datadog, Grafana).
- Understanding of security hardening, access management practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and logical thinking skills.
- A DevSecOps mindset is an advantage for this role.
- Cloud certifications.
- Experience working with remote teams in different time zones.
- Passion for continuous learning.
- A great sense of humor.
