Redstone Commodity Search are working with an established Danish Commodities Trading House, in their search for a Lead Quantitative Researcher to join the growing Energy team.
Key Responsibilities / Tasks
- Focus on EU power and Gas markets, seeking out new opportunities and trends.
- Build models to power quantitative strategies.
- Conduct research and statistical analysis.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and reporting within the Energy Market.
- Work with large data sets to predict and test statistical market patterns.
- Role reports into the Director of Power Trading.
Key Qualifications / Experience
- Having a broad understanding of international power and gas fundamentals.
- Analytical mindset and strong ability to navigate the markets.
- 3+ years of relevant quantitative experience.
- Master’s degree in finance, mathematics, economics, or a relevant field.
- Strong attention to detail, and numerical accuracy.
- Located in Denmark.
