We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Business Partner to the Chief of Staff as part of the Executive Office team.
This pivotal role will work closely with the Chief of Staff, providing strategic, tactical, and operational support across a diverse range of areas, including People and Culture, Innovation, Strategy, Quality, Risk and Safety, Communication, Branding, Sustainability, and Executive Office operations.
You will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless execution and will be responsible for managing work related to the Board of Directors and its committees, including the Audit Committee and the Remuneration and Nomination Committee.
In this role, you will gain invaluable on-the-job experience across all these areas and will have managerial responsibility for a student worker, guiding and developing their skills to support the team's objectives.
Key responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Chief of Staff to drive strategic initiatives and ensure alignment with organisational goals.
- Provide analytical and strategic insights to support decision-making processes.
- Enhance process efficiency and structure within the Executive Office and related functions.
- Manage and coordinate activities related to the Board of Directors and its committees, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of materials and reports.
- Oversee and mentor a student worker, fostering professional growth and development.
- Engage with cross-functional teams to support the Chief of Staff areas.
- Contribute to communication and branding strategies to enhance organisational visibility and reputation.
About you
- A razor-sharp analytical mind with exceptional strategic thinking skills.
- Proven ability to enhance process efficiency and implement structured approaches to complex challenges.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in managing or supporting board-related activities is desirable.
- A proactive and adaptable mindset, eager to learn and grow within a dynamic environment.
- A strong foundation in business and management principles, possibly from a Business School.
- Keen interest in advancing to leadership roles and/or demonstrated leadership potential.
