Danfoss Drives is looking for a Software Engineer to join one of our most experienced teams.

We offer you a unique job opportunity where you will be able to put all your technical competences into play and get a decisive influence on development projects.

Working with the latest technology, your mission will be to participate and contribute to development and maintenance of our premium frequency converter products. You will be a significant part of full project cycles from specification to verification and release through Software Product Lines and platforms.

Job Responsibilities

Based on your solid understanding of real-time embedded software technologies you will secure that development projects meet on time quality objectives.

Other areas of responsibility include:

  • Develop and implement state-of-art frequency converter with special focus on real time embedded software
  • Participate in an agile product team with full responsibility of end-to-end functionality serving our customer needs
  • Maintain the existing platform and ensuring high quality in all deliveries
  • Develop features and solutions that solve the problems of our customers
  • Debug on customer application, hardware (near) and software levels
  • Manage and coordinate development activities with both internal and external stakeholders
Background & Skills

To be successful in this position we expect you to hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Motor Control or Computer Science, preferably with experience in developing real-time embedded software. Alternatively, if you are a less experienced Software Engineer or maybe a recent graduate, you will be given the opportunity to grow and realize your potential in your new role.

You may have experience with C, C++, tests and Agile Software development methodology.

Knowledge within Motor Control, Digital Signal Processing and/or Power Electronics is a bonus. You might also enjoy working "hands-on" with debuggers, oscilloscope, logic analyzers and understand hardware schematics.

On a personal note, you value high quality and on-time project deliveries, and you possess curiosity, drive for performance and determination for winning.
