We are looking for an experienced New Product Introduction Engineer who embodies ambition and positivity . An engineer who can passionately take ownership of their responsibilities, collaborating effectively with remote teams to not only meet but exceed our objectives and fulfill the evolving needs of our expanding customer base. The role of the NPI engineer resides in the R&D department that develops, introduces and maintains products to and in the market from Quantum Machines.

Key Responsibilities:

In projects:

  • Keeping track of ordered prototypes and their delivery time
  • Help with supplier selection and dialogue
  • Interface to operations
  • Maintaining an overview of the remaining milestones to secure timely release for manufacturing, focusing on the transfer to production

Creating production documentation:

  • Bill of Material in ERP and PLM system
  • Assembly instructions
  • Regulatory requirements
  • Test descriptions
  • Incoming inspection instructions
  • Overview of ongoing ECOs and ensuring progress
  • Compiling documentation packages for procurement at suppliers

Continuous improvement tasks:

  • Ensure a strategic fit of the product production documentation package
  • Participate in PLM and ERP development
  • Participate in the creation and improvement of the NPI process
  • Facilitate all the above with stakeholders in Operations and Engineering

Key Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience in an NPI role in the hardware industry
  • Worked with a multitude of suppliers and EMSs in a global setting
  • Fluent in written and verbal English and Danish
  • Result-driven, and can motivate colleagues
  • Have a sense of details and can capture them in concise production documentation
  • Inspired by working with groundbreaking technology
  • A good sense of how to progress a project with the product introduction in focus

Quantum Machines Copenhagen:

The position is based at our Copenhagen office and refers to the Director of R&D. The position is a global role that requires collaboration with our Tel Aviv team and suppliers across the world.
