Then join us as our new Tax Reporting Associate where you will be part of the Global Tax Reporting team and help us manage the global tax landscape on behalf of Saxo’s clients and partners.
You will join a team of specialists responsible for conducting detailed analysis and requirements to comply with Saxo’s compliance and reporting obligations within several jurisdictions worldwide. The team strives to constantly challenge the status quo while also managing the operational risk and quality of reporting in a smart and efficient way.
As our new Tax Reporting Associate, you will work closely with skilled IT personnel and take part in defining the roadmap and improvement areas within tax operations and tax reporting.
Responsibilities
You will be working on a variety of tasks within tax compliance and tax reporting, such as:
- Take part in the development of new reporting solutions and assist with Subject Matter Expert knowledge to ensure high-quality implementation.
- Ensure Saxo remains compliant with new and existing tax laws and regulatory affairs with respect to customer tax reporting, such as reporting of withholding tax and dividends.
- Review internal operations and procedures to ensure continuous improvement of reporting accuracy and completeness. When needed, suggest new procedures for improving the collection of tax information, which may require working with large financial data sets.
- Drive and support administration regarding customer requests and communication with Tax Regulators.
- Implement internal policies, procedures, and automatic controls for operational handling of tax reporting.

Your Profile
- Master’s degree in Business Administration and Commercial Law, Accounting, Finance, Law, or a related field at a similar level.
- Preferably, you have some experience from a consultancy firm, law firm, or from the financial industry.
- Proficient in using Excel, Power BI, SQL, etc. for data analysis and query purposes.
- Proactive mindset and a keen work ethic with a curious approach to new challenges.
Furthermore, we are looking for a candidate who is structured, detail-oriented, analytical, and self-motivated. Someone with a focus on effective problem-solving while working with tight deadlines. You are a team player willing to share learnings and new ideas. Additionally, you have a flair for communicating at different management levels and are proficient in English, both oral and written.
