This position is a 12 month's maternity cover, where you in close cooperation with the Demand Planning team will work with dedicated and professional colleagues in sales and planning. It is our goal to ensure that Arla's customers always experience superior customer service and the right amount of fresh goods delivered on time.

How you will make an impact
As Promotion Planner, it is your responsibility to act as a lead advisor for the business and handle the planning and execution of promotions in agreement with our customers and colleagues. You are continuously focusing on optimising the planning process and meeting the KPI goals by analysing historical data. You challenge our way of working and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Your tasks will include:

• Responsible for updating promotions agreed with customers into planning systems in close dialogue with customers and Business Units about volume, timing and prices
• Create promotion forecast based on analytics of historical sales data and category development
• Evaluating completed sales promotions and adjusting planned future promotions accordingly
• Lead, evaluate and identify opportunities for continuous improvement of promotion planning processes to ensure that activities are completed accurately and on time
• Creating intuitive and relevant reporting for the business using the latest tools, i.e. Microsoft Power BI, Excel, SAP Analysis for Office etc.

In close cooperation with your colleagues in Supply Chain, you will work to ensure high delivery accuracy while reducing supply chain costs by complying with deadlines for the planned sales promotion.

Additionally, in collaboration with customers and internal stakeholders, you will optimise the planning process for future sales promotions.

• Have experience in Excel, preferably including the use of data analysis tools like Power BI
• Have a relevant educational background on bachelor or master level
• Speak and write Danish fluently, as Danish is our working language
