Copenhagen, Copenhagen, Denmark LEGO Gruppe Full time

Job Description

Do you thrive in a collaborative environment where you can create lasting impact on a global scale?

Our Model Production Digital Team is on a mission to empower Model Production, which is responsible for creating the BIG LEGO builds and more. We support them in delivering outstanding shopper experiences by providing up-to-date technology, supporting and optimizing existing processes, simplifying workflows, and improving the tools they rely on.

If you're eager to be part of a forward-thinking team dedicated to problem-solving, innovation, and continuous improvement, we'd love to hear from you

Core Responsibilities

  1. Contribute to the development, operation, and maintenance of scalable solutions for Model Production
  2. Support in exploring and learning emerging technologies and methods, discovering new opportunities for our platforms
  3. Participate actively in fostering an outstanding engineering culture with a focus on good craftsmanship and continuous improvement
  4. Apply DevSecOps principles: "You build it - you own it" (and run it) with an emphasis on secure code and security by design
  5. Collaborate with internal partners to drive solutions and deliver value
  6. Support the transformation journey as we move away from legacy systems, such as extensive Excel sheets and SAP-based tools, to modern digital platforms

Play Your Part in Our Team Succeeding

As a Software Engineer in our Model Production Product team, part of the Platform Technology in OMP organization, you will play an important role in the digital transformation of our Model Production in Copenhagen and other locations worldwide. The goal of this transformation is to implement up-to-date tools and processes, replacing outdated IT systems. This is an opportunity to help co-create the digital landscape of an entire business unit and lay the foundation for its future success, while maintaining and supporting current systems, ensuring their stability and continued functionality.

Do you have what it takes?

The ideal candidate has experience in full-stack software development, leveraging modern, scalable solutions. To excel in this role, you should also have:

  1. Experience with frontend technologies such as React and Typescript
  2. Experience with C#, .Net for backend development
  3. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, modern deployment workflows, automated testing, monitoring and logging to ensure system stability and performance
  4. Understanding of modern technology stacks and architectures, such as event-driven architectures and microservices
  5. Good communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and functional teams
  6. Experience in software development within an Agile framework.
  7. A deep curiosity for learning and helping others grow
  8. A demonstrated willingness to learn from failures and continuously improve, and to recognize when others do good work

It would be great if you also have:

  1. Experience with Next.js
  2. Knowledge of SAP
  3. Experience integrating with off-the-shelf enterprise software solutions, including data processing systems

Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis. However, please note we do amend or withdraw our jobs and reserve the right to do so at any time, including prior to any advertised closing date. So, if you're interested in this role we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.

What's in it for you?

Here is what you can expect:

  1. Family Care Leave - We offer enhanced paid leave options for those important times.
  2. Insurances – All colleagues are covered by our life and disability insurance which provides protection and peace of mind.
  3. Wellbeing - We want our people to feel well and thrive. We offer resources and benefits to nurture physical and mental wellbeing along with opportunities to build community and inspire creativity.
  4. Colleague Discount – We know you'll love to build, so from day 1 you will qualify for our generous colleague discount.
  5. Bonus - We do our best work to succeed together. When goals are reached and if eligible, you'll be rewarded through our bonus scheme.
  6. Workplace - When you join the team you'll be assigned a primary workplace location i.e. one of our Offices, stores or factories. Our hybrid work policy means an average of 3 days per week in the office. The hiring team will discuss the policy and role eligibility with you during the recruitment process.
