You will be joining our EMEA legal team as Corporate Counsel based out of our Copenhagen hub together with 3 other legal team members. Reporting directly to the Group General Counsel (also located in Copenhagen), a substantial part of your time will be spent on working with Data Privacy compliance, both internally and externally. You will be responsible for keeping both Siteimprove, our Partners, and our services compliant with global privacy laws, handling various customer requests/negotiations, and training our employees globally. What you will be doing
  • Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial agreements, including DPAs, with our customers, partners, and vendors.
  • Ensuring corporate governance and compliance for our +15 subsidiaries.
  • Identifying business risks and devising practical, business-oriented solutions to mitigate such risks.
  • Managing cross-departmental compliance projects and coordinating with key stakeholders from across the organization (e.g., Finance, Customer Support, Marketing, and IT).
  • M&A activities.
What we will require of you
  • +2 years of relevant working experience with Data Privacy and security matters from either a law firm or as in-house counsel in Europe.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Master's degree in Law (Cand.jur, Cand.merc.jur or equivalent).
  • Strong collaboration skills and easily form relations in a multicultural environment.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, agile working environment with quick turnaround times.
