Warehouse & Transport Manager

Vestas is looking for an experienced and qualified Warehouse & Transport Manager who wishes to bring and build an inclusive culture.

The logistics department in Nakskov consists of three subdivisions: planning/logistic, warehouse, and transport, with a total of around 65 people. Transport and warehouse operate six days a week, 24 hours a day. Planning/logistic works closely with global planning and offshore projects in Northern Europe.

Responsibilities

• Planning of finished blades and shipment to customers.
• Ensure production can run smoothly without shortage of materials.
• Management of planning/logistic, warehouse, and transport.
• Continuously drive improvement activities within the factory and logistics department.
• Accountable for yearly stock count and periodic cycle count set up for the plant.
• Organize and develop the team within logistics to meet production plan requirements.
• Support and optimize processes related to warehouse, planning, and purchasing.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree as Production Engineer or similar.
• Experience in a production industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software, including SAP.
• Good management and organizational skills.
• Advanced communication and negotiation skills.
• Working knowledge of legal regulations and ISO requirements.
• Fluency in English and Danish is required.

Additional information
Work location: Nakskov, Denmark.
Travel days: up to 30 days per year.
