We are recruiting a Senior Key Account Manager in Denmark or South Sweden (remote/hybrid).

In this role, you will be an integral part of our dynamic commercial operation, establishing robust connections with the largest biopharma companies in the region. Your main tasks will be:

  1. Strategic Account Management: Developing and implementing comprehensive strategies to manage and grow biopharmaceutical key accounts in the Nordics region. Align business goals with client needs to drive mutual success.
  2. Relationship Building: Cultivating strong, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, decision-makers, project & production managers, end-users, and influencers within client organizations. Act as a liaison between clients and internal international teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  3. Industry Expertise: Staying abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes in the biopharmaceutical sector. Leverage your in-depth knowledge to provide valuable insights and guidance to both clients and internal teams.
  4. Collaboration and Cross-functional Leadership: Working closely with internal international teams, including sales, marketing, supply, and technical experts, to coordinate efforts and address client needs effectively. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing and innovation.
  5. Solution Selling: Positioning Watson Marlow’s products and services as solutions that address the unique challenges and goals of biopharmaceutical clients. Customize offerings to meet specific client requirements and provide added value.
  6. Contract Negotiation: Leading negotiations for contracts and pricing, ensuring that terms are mutually beneficial and aligned with the overall Watson Marlow strategy.
  7. Customer Satisfaction: Focusing on customer satisfaction, and promptly addressing concerns or issues. Strive to exceed client expectations and maintain a high level of customer loyalty.
  8. Revenue Growth: Driving revenue growth through upselling, cross-selling, and identifying new business opportunities within existing accounts. Develop and execute plans to meet or exceed sales targets.

Who you are
To be successful as our new Senior Key Account Manager, you must have a proven b2b track record from a senior sales role within the biopharmaceutical industry, preferably from selling industrial products and solutions.

In addition, you tick the boxes below:

  1. A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. A strong commercial mindset with an understanding of biopharmaceutical processes, stakeholders, structures, and market dynamics.
  3. A dynamic professional with excellent communication, strategic thinking, and proven sales abilities to drive biopharmaceutical business growth in the Nordics, fostering long-lasting partnerships. Strong negotiation and project management skills.
  4. Excellent analytical skills, and ability to make decisions based on facts.
  5. Structured, experienced CRM user.
  6. Fluent in Danish and business level in English is required.
  7. This role has a commercial focus with full product training provided, therefore prior product knowledge is an advantage, but not a requirement.
  8. Team player, proactive, honest, trustworthy.
  9. Furthermore, it will be ideal that you are located in Denmark, alternatively South of Sweden (remote/hybrid).
