Requisition ID: 5982

Location: Copenhagen, Danish Capital Region, DK

Projects & Partnering Professional (Specialist) – Projects & Partnering, Global Patient Safety

Lundbeck aspires to become a focused innovator developing transformative treatments in neuroscience for patients with high unmet needs while delivering profitable sustainable long-term growth.

Are you eager to bring into play your experience to ensure pharmacovigilance partnerships including preparation of pharmacovigilance agreements with partners and daily collaboration with service providers and PV legal requirements?

And do you enjoy keeping detailed records, structure and oversight while also developing processes and pragmatic solutions in cross-functional and cross-cultural environments? And are you able to operate effectively even when things are not certain, or the way forward is not always clear?

Then you may be our new colleague in Projects & Partnering within Lundbeck Global Patient Safety (GPS).

Your new role – why is this a great opportunity?

This is a great opportunity to have a job involving a variety of responsibilities that are everchanging in line with current and future business needs in GPS. You will become a focal point in GPS and for stakeholders across the Lundbeck value chain and externally. The exact mix of tasks will vary and depend on the candidate and the business needs as they evolve.

  • Pharmacovigilance agreements including Data Privacy agreements with our business partners. This involves the full “contract management cycle” including drafting, negotiating, signature process, implementing, archiving and updating of agreements.
  • Collaboration and oversight with our PV service providers. This includes maintaining our contract management system / partner database and other KPI, budgeting and oversight mechanisms.
  • Tasks related to legal PV requirements from national authorities globally. This involves both daily monitoring and categorization of information and collaborating with the rest of the team, GPS and other stakeholders to ensure implementation and adjustments of various systems and procedures.
  • Other tasks in Projects & Partnering and GPS as needed and ongoing support for the organization and work in close collaboration with your colleagues.

Your future team

You have the prospects of joining a diverse team of 8 dedicated colleagues who take pride in driving operational excellence and compliance with the purpose of safeguarding the health of the patients taking our medicines. We create value through project management; partner and vendor management and via keeping oversight of third-party deliverables. We also help the organization develop better ways of working, e.g. agile mindset initiatives, and we support GPS on data privacy activities.

Projects & Partnering is part of the GPS organization within Lundbeck Research & Development (R&D). GPS is responsible for the safety (pharmacovigilance) of patients using our medicinal products globally. We consist of approximately 100 dedicated colleagues working together in one global team across Denmark, Singapore, and the US.

The Projects & Partnering department is located in Valby, Denmark, and supports all our GPS sites. This position is based in Valby, Denmark.

Our culture is characterized by curiosity and a psychologically safe environment where we celebrate diversity, openness, and speaking up about our mistakes as we see these as great learning opportunities. We respectfully challenge each other and support each other on a daily basis and cherish a light-hearted working environment.

What you bring to the team

While your specific educational background is not decisive, we do expect you to have a formal higher education at Master level or equivalent.

A minimum of 2-3 years professional experience from pharma is needed. Understanding and experience with the operations of patient safety / pharmacovigilance systems or similar regulated areas is highly desired (e.g., from clinical operations, regulatory affairs, CRO, Biotech).

The ideal candidate also has experience with PV legislation and PV partner and vendor management.

Adaptability where you are flexible and embrace change comes naturally to you. You are accountable and take ownership for your own development and tasks assigned to you. Being proactive, responsible and following through on tasks is a “must-have” competence. Personal integrity, curiosity, good communication and stakeholder management skills are needed.

Other key competencies include the ability to create simplicity in processes; use a risk-based approach; productivity understanding and applying an “Enterprise mindset” with the ability to create results that go beyond the immediate function and process.

Lundbeck offers an inspiring workplace, passionate colleagues and a culture characterized as collaborative – a must to successfully bring our treatments through research and development all the way to commercialization and to the people who need them. Besides great colleagues, we offer attractive benefits, a fantastic canteen, best-in-class sport facilities, flexible working conditions and good development opportunities balanced with initiatives focused on your well-being.
