In MFT Energy, we trade energy to make markets efficient and to facilitate the green transition. We are looking for a Full-stack Developer to join our ambitious Power Trading team with experienced colleagues, who strive to be the best every day.

The job as Senior Full-Stack Developer
You will become a part of the European Day Ahead and Long-Term Power Trading Team. The job is focused around developing Models and Tools that support trading. You will be sitting with the trading team, engaged in daily discussions about Models and Tools. Our modelling is done in Python, and includes frequent usage of Pandas, Numpy, SciKit-learn and Linear Programming. For tool development, we develop the frontend in Typescript, React, Grafana, and then we access the data with SQL and Python APIs. For the role, it is possible to be stronger in one area than the other, but then grow into the other area.

Your specific responsibilities will be:

• Continuous development of our in-house tools:
  • Dashboards – Plotly, Grafana, Typescript
  • Python Modelling projects – Simulation, Statistics, Machine Learning
• Working with a team of traders and analysts

Tech stuff…
MFT Energy was established in 2017 in the clouds. This is still the setup today and we keep our systems up to date with the latest standard of the industry. We utilize a big part of DevOps and the different Azure services in our day-to-day operations.

Your qualifications and personal skills

• We imagine you have an educational background in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar where coding and problem-solving are at the core
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, TypeScript and React
• SQL Database Knowledge
• The ability to work independently and structure your workload
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written, as our company language is English
• Strong analytic skills and an eye for detail
• A positive and competitive attitude, but at the same time a valued team player
